Kanpur: As many as as 47 postal poll papers had been used in Kanpur Nagar and Akbarpur parliamentary constituencies by the voters concerned within the polling procedure on Tuesday. The polling procedure, which began on Tuesday, will continue till April 25.

It is also mentioned that executive employees, engaged within the polling procedure, who can not forged their votes at the polling day, use postal ballots to workout their right to franchise.


According to the knowledge released by the district election officer, Kanpur Nagar, a total 26 individuals used the postal poll for casting their votes. The best choice of postal ballots had been used in Govind Nagar assembly constituency while six individuals used postal ballots in Sisamau constituency, 4 in Arya Nagar and three every in Kidwai Nagar and Cantonment assembly constituencies.


Similarly, 21 employees, engaged within the election procedure, used postal postal ballots--eight in Kalyanpur, six in Maharajpur, five in Ghatampur and two in Bithoor.


Meanwhile, district election officer Vijay Vishwas Pant on Tuesday inspected the guidelines era department at Government Polytechnic and asked the individuals deputed there to forged their vote via postal poll between 10 am and five pm on April 17, April 24 and April 25. They can also forged their votes via postal poll between April 18 and April 23 from nine am to six pm.
