Jhansi: A store owner in Kathryana space of outdated Jhansi town used to be booked for violation of model code of behavior on Wednesday. The man had inscribed a promotional slogan in favour of Bharatiya Janta Party candidate on his shop.

According to stories, the store owner had inscribed a message telling shoppers to avail 15% discount if they pledge to vote in conjunction with a promotional slogan in favour of BJP. On being informed, cellular election watching workforce headed through magistrate Brijmohan Singh reached the web page and lodged a criticism in opposition to the man at town Kotwali.


Singh said, “On being informed the workforce reached the web page. Finding the graffiti in opposition to model code of behavior a criticism used to be lodged in opposition to the store owner. The subject used to be reported to the Election Commission.”


SO Kotwali Sanjay Singh said, “We have lodged an FIR in opposition to the shopkeeper and efforts are directly to arrest him”.
