JHANSI: A transgender lady was once crushed to death right through a conflict between two rival teams outside a wedding corridor at Atia Tal early on Saturday morning.

Preliminary investigations point out a dispute over money fuelled the violence. An FIR has been lodged against six accused, three of them named, and the frame of victim Haji Noori (45) sent for autopsy. Two of her friends who were injured in the conflict were sent to medical institution.


According to police, Noori and 4 others had collected outside the wedding corridor to bless a newly-wed couple and ask for money. Another staff of transgender other folks, led by means of two individuals identified as Gola and Sabir, arrived on the scene and a heated exchange over territory ensued.


Noori accused her rivals of being impostors who extorted money from other folks. In truth, she had even filed a case against Gola in the town Kotwali.


Gola and his supporters attacked Noori and the others with sticks and rods. A CCTV digicam pictures displays her slumping to the bottom after being battered with a stone. She was once rushed to Jhansi Medical College, where she was once declared brought lifeless.


An FIR has been lodged at Nawabad police station against Gola, Sabir, Salim Ansari and three others beneath Sections 304, 323, 427, 404 and 147 of the IPC. Station officer Sanjay Kumar mentioned they'd convert Section 304 to Section 302 (murder) following preliminary investigations.
